Vandalizing Talk:Disappearing blonde gene edit

On Talk:Disappearing blonde gene you deleted user comments made by another. Please do not do that. It is against wikipedia policy. rewinn 04:38, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ah yes, was only intending to correct the own edit, but not aware, there was a reaction of somebody else allready. Sorry.

By the way, suppose someone has written insults on this page; is it then according to the rules, to delete (just) them? James Blond 04:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your user page is more-or-less yours to control. Delete anything you want, so long as what remains doesn't misrepresent what someone else posted. For example, an insulted posting should be deleted in its entirety, rather than editted. Do Unto Others As (etc.) rewinn 21:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
This also goes for the My talk page? If no, than who can remove insults? It has to be done, because otherwise Wikipedia, who is (to be compared with) the editor of this publication, might also be responsible and punishable. James Blond 04:28, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion, if it's your "My Talk" page, then delete as you wish, for any reason or no reason. Who could object?
If it's someone else's "My Talk" page, ignore it. Since your logon is pretty darn anonymous, it would be hard for you to prove damages anyway. I suppose if there were really serious insults directed at you on someone else's page, you could complain to the Gods of Wikipedia but it's best not to attract their attention. rewinn 03:35, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Civility edit

Please do not insult other editors as you did in the edit summary of a recent edit to hair removal. It is a violation of WP:CIVIL. I have added some important information for you to review in the welcome section above. Thanks! Jokestress 16:46, 2 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Didn't and still don't have the idea that it was insulting. That user reverted an edit without any kind of argumentation. Because his/her userpage gives some reason to think it was that one, not the question was posed, what the argumentation was, but whether it was that one. That was all.
