Help with my draft approval/review

Hi,

I need help with draft approval/review. It is about our village, that is around 200-300 years old. Can you identify where I need to add reliable sources? Thanks

Draft:Village Jamnindo Marri SherMarri (talk) 20:05, 20 October 2024 (UTC)

Please search reliable sources online for your draft to be accepted. This will ensure the credibility of your information about the village. Thanks! Waqar💬 07:08, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

Our Admin Election Test

Hello there. As we're preparing to move from one stage to the next, this is just a quick note from one member of the test group to another, wishing you well in the process of this new alternative to RfA. It seems that there are more of us in this group than some in the community anticipated, so i hope that doesn't make the experience any the worse for all of us. Whatever our individual results, i thank you, along with the rest, for stepping up and testing this process; happy days, ~ LindsayHello 07:13, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

It's a great opportunity, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this process unfolds and what the results will be. Thanks for your participation and good luck to you as well. Let's hope for the best! Waqar💬 07:26, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

Administrator Elections: Discussion phase

Administrator Elections | Discussion phase

The discussion phase of the October 2024 administrator elections is officially open. As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:

  • October 22–24 - Discussion phase
  • October 25–31 - SecurePoll voting phase
  • November 1–? - Scrutineering phase

During October 22–24, we will be in the discussion phase. The candidate subpages will open to questions and comments from everyone, in the same style as a request for adminship. You may discuss the candidates at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/October 2024/Discussion phase.

On October 25, we will start the voting phase. The candidate subpages will close again to public questions and discussion, and everyone will have a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote tallies cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's tally during the election. The suffrage requirements are different from those at RFA.

Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for an indeterminate amount of time, perhaps a week or two. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose). As this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats").

Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

Ajohn77 user page

I think you may have added a hard redirect on user:Ajohn77 user page linking to a draft when you moved Draft:FRELIN LANGUAGE.WP:CATTEMCATREDIR

Maybe place a soft redirect or simply a link on the user page instead. Sidenote: You may want to compare the draft page you originally moved with what it is now. I'm hoping it's a tongue in cheek joke by the editor in order to show off his page making skills. Thank you, RCSCott91 (talk) 18:02, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Got it, thanks! And you're right, it's definitely possible that the editor was just having a bit of fun with the page. Waqar💬 18:16, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Little help at the deletion discussion of 8 Clearwater Bay Road?

Hi. Thank you for previously reviewing my skyscraper articles. I need a little help with something. There's an ongoing deletion discussion for one of the skyscraper articles I've recently created. The nominator tagged the article with a deletion notice over lack of resources, but another user expanded the article and proved there is enough coverage to keep it on the mainspace. Can you please take a look at the discussion here and maybe help out to give a vote in order keep the article? It has just been improved and it would be senseless if it gets deleted. Thank you! Regards! JeyReydar97 (talk) 22:24, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

Can I quote your userpage

I very strongly agree with a statement on your userpage: "The majority of vandals are IPs, but they are mainly immature children, usually too young for them to edit Wikipedia", and would like to use it on mine.

Can I? (I will make it clear that its a quote from your user page), Redacted II (talk) 02:20, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
