May 2017 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Cullen328, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 14:19, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to the Rick Riordan Task Force! edit

Hello Iris Medallion, and welcome to the Rick Riordan Task Force! Keep up with our latest news by adding {{Wikipedia:RRTF/Update}} to your userpage, and make sure to check out the userboxes we have available! When you're ready to start editing, have a look at our To-do list and watchlist. New ideas for the project are encouraged at the RRTF general forums. If you have any questions, I or another member would be more than happy to help -- leave us a message!

Welcoming you once again, 2ReinreB2 (talk) 17:00, 26 May 2017 (UTC)  Reply

Sincere Apologies edit

Thank you Cullen328 and Theroadislong for correcting myself and another user. I offer my apologies if we were difficult as you are experienced adults and we were behaving immaturely on an important site. If you have any other concerns please don't hesitate to correct us. We will now contribute properly to the site. Best wishes, Danni Heaven and Iris Medallion

No problem. I suggest that you reconsider posting personally identifying information such as your real name and age. Please read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Also, any talk page posts should be signed by a single editor. Joint statements are discouraged. Although collaboration is encouraged, each editor should speak for himself or herself. Good luck. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 17:23, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
I have suppressed the edits to your userpage which revealed your real name and age, and would reiterate Cullen's advice about reading the guidance for younger editors. Whilst you're more than welcome to contribute here, regardless of your age, you do need to be careful what you reveal about yourself on Wikipedia - it's a very heavily viewed website. Yunshui  06:45, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Suppressed? Do you mean remove all my personal information? But I just did that about five minutes ago. Iris Medallion (talk) 06:47, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

You probably don't realise that other people can see the history of a page unless an administrator goes and changes its visibility. This is what Yunshui has done. Deb (talk) 13:58, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Oh thank you! I did know about the history visibility but never thought of it. [User:Deb|Deb]] and Yunshui. Iris Medallion (talk) 13:28, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

June 2017 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on User talk:Queen hayley were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. Don't let the template worry you. Just want you to know how talk pages work. Happy editing. Chris Troutman (talk) 12:48, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Yunshui  12:49, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
