Disambiguation entries edit

Please read MOS:DABENTRY to find out the correct way of formatting disambiguation page entries. In particular, each entry should have only one blue link leading to the page that discusses that topic. Nothing else should be linked. The entry should be kept as short as possible, limited only to sufficient information to allow the reader to identify the page they are looking for. August 2017 edit

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. SpinningSpark 13:28, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Twist of Fate, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. SpinningSpark 22:44, 14 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the notice but you have to accept that users are meant to display their positive info based on various aspects at the same time others aren't meant to put their personal intention as the top priority...maybe you need to recheck the policy. You are welcome — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iodeaux (talkcontribs) 13:44, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I've moved your post back here from my talk page to keep the conversation together. I'm well aware of the blocking policy, I'm an administrator on this site. I don't know what you mean by users are meant to display their positive info. That's not what disambiguation pages are for. Let me point it out again, we have a Manual of Style. The MoS is quite explicit on how disambiguation pages should be laid out: Include exactly one navigable (blue) link to efficiently guide readers to the most relevant article for that use of the ambiguous term. Do not wikilink any other words in the line and Keep the description associated with a link to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link. In many cases, the title of the article alone will be sufficient and no additional description is necessary. You have repeatedly added more links and description to the entry despite being told repeatedly not to. That is what is disruptive. SpinningSpark 16:20, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
