Spartan08's vandalism edit

Look, the official squad list is important but they're not always right. You keep changing two people with the name Bencze to Bence however one of the articles for one of the players actually is titled Benzce so either fix it with Bencze|Bence or don't do it at all. Part of writing an article is avoiding the use of the redirect so please be aware of this. Thanks. Spartan008 (talk) 13:19, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello.

  • Did you see ever the official sqadlist? [1]
  • Do you know anything about the proper spelling of Hungarian words? Do you know for example, that the spelling "cz" is disused since the early 1930s?
  • Do you know, that the forename Bencze does not exist in the Hungarian language?

Please, stop restoring the bad variant forever.

Thanks. Infel (talk)

I dont care about how many changes you did on that page. It is absolutely irrelevant. It is also irrelevant, that somebody made a false redirect page. The only relevant inormation is that a forename "Bencze" does not exist into the Hungarian language, it is a mistake, and I showed you the official source, which may verify my statement. I will be watching the page, and I will report your vandalism if you ruin the correct version again. Infel (talk) 14:32, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've had a closer look at the Hungary squad. When I first added the squad, the players' article were originally under the name Bencze, since then the articles have changed name so that they are Bence and thus reflect the proper spelling. My apologies, I was unaware the articles of the players had changed name. Thank you for clearing it up. Spartan008 (talk) 15:44, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nemanja Nikolić (footballer born 1987) edit

Hello Infel. I noteced you changed the flag of Nemanja Nikolić (footballer born 1987) in Videoton FC article to Hungary. I rverted you and you edit-warred me instead of discussing. This reverting of yours is is unecceptable for two reasons, first because you attack me without any reason ("Youre irrelevant") and second because you provide an explanation without sourcing (I could´t find any infortmation about him being part of Hungarian national team). Honestly, I don´t care about him, since he is quite an unknown player in Serbia, however I do care about the flag display in club articles. As I understand you´re replacing him the Serbian flag to a Hungarian one for the reason he has Hungarian passport (beside Serbian), so he plays as domestic in Hungarian league. However, I explained you in my reverting that WP doesn´t follow the rule of domestic/foreign players for flag displays, but if you wish you can add an asteriks (*) with explanationa at bottom that he is domestic player. As exemple, Cléo also had Serbian passport however he was allways displayed with Brazilian flag in Partizan squad because footballistically, Brazilian precedes Serbian. Many players have multiple passports, and we respect as first the national teams they represent, and in case they don´t played for any national teams, the combination of birth placve with football nationality. If it comes that Nikolic will play for Hungarian national team, then you´ll be right and we´ll replace him the Serbian with Hungarian flag, if not, he still is a Serbian footballer that beside has also Hungarian passport, only that. Now please provide your arguments first, and I want tolerate any further personal attacks on me, because I didn´t attacked you at any time. FkpCascais (talk) 16:37, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2011 edit

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Adnan Alisic. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 10:09, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

And any reason why you found yourself unable to add that source to the article? Please do so in future, rather than just blindly reverting my good-faith edits. GiantSnowman 10:15, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
