Speedy deletion nomination of Filarmoniya Bağı

edit

Hello Ilgarahmed,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Filarmoniya Bağı for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Polyglot (talk) 23:21, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Filarmoniya Bağı

edit

The article Filarmoniya Bağı has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-English article posted at WP:PNT for 14 days without being translated.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Finngall talk 04:52, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm TheImaCow. I noticed that in this edit to DOST Agency, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TheImaCow (talk) 16:01, 9 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Ilgarahmed. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Farid Mammadov (state official), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 12:17, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I understand your sensitivity about this, and you're right. However, Farid Mammadov is the head of a large social organization serving the population in Azerbaijan. Farid Mammadov personally asked to open his page and update his photo. And I assure you that I receive no compensation or monetary payment in return. This is not the work that I am obliged to do in the company where I work. I just took it upon myself because no one else could do anything about wikipedia. Also, I think that people should know who is the head of such an institution that provides 159 services in the social sphere in Azerbaijan. If you can get a deleted photo back, you'll be helping people too. Thank you. Ilgarahmed (talk) 07:20, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello. What's your unpaid connection with Mr. Mammadov? Why did he personally ask you to upload the copyrighted photo? Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 08:13, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
He is the head of the government office where I work.
Similarly, photos are being removed from another page that I want to be on Wikipedia. This page is the page of the educational assistance fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to poor but capable young people and help them get quality education. However, removing photos from the page may prevent more people from recognizing the fund.
I am also willing to send you any information about all the photos on both pages. Thank you Ilgarahmed (talk) 07:46, 6 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your reply. As you are an employee of DOST, and Mammadov is its head, you must observe the guidelines laid out in Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Please place a COI userbox on your user page, as outlined in those guidelines. I've already added a connected contributor template to Talk:Farid Mammadov (state official) and Talk:Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security. Please propose any significant changes at those talk pages, to help maintain a WP:Neutral point of view. Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 08:16, 6 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
