I have improved the referencing. One challenge is that older sources in the subject are very brief or has proven to be inaccurate. Newer published sources are written by me and are published in magazines in swedish and not available online. Thus my webpage, which has been around since 2010, is the most accurate source of information on the subject and also the only available source in english.
My main reason for writing this article now is that I want to edit the following article Låtfiol - Wikipedia, which has been there for a long time and is full of errors or almost completely wrong. Rather than just deleting that article I would like to rewrite it or comment the errors since there is a common misconception that Låtfiol is something that exists and that it is based on older instrument while the fact is that it was created in the 1980s (and thus maybe today could be classified as an existing instrument model even though it has no older history than the 1980s). In order to rewrite that article it would be much easier if it existed an article about the only type of Swedish violins with sympathetic strings that actually exists in the form of preserved older instruments I99jonma (talk) 14:49, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I didn't really get how I should do with the Wikipedia:VRT. The article is not very similar to the text on the webpage that is referenced, it is completely written from scratch but both have the same author. I thought it was ok but if needed I can "lodge ownership" or similar. I99jonma (talk) 14:56, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
It is worth lodging permission "just in case" unless the words are significantly different. Enough similarities make it look like close paraphrasing. The instrument looks interesting and I would like to see the draft accepted, assuming it passes WP:GNG. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:39, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
