Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for contributing edits that were made in good faith, but have been deemed not to contribute positively to the article. These edits have thus been reverted. Wikipedia's page on unacceptable additions may explain why. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out the Teahouse, ask the Help Desk, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Once again, welcome! Lightoil (talk) 10:17, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Lightoil. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Jennie (singer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Lightoil (talk) 09:12, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sana (singer). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Lightoil (talk) 09:29, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Edit summary

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Bostonite01310 talk 05:02, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Park Chanyeol. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please be careful with your text replacements. You are replacing valid images and links Evaders99 (talk) 07:26, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Bruce Lee, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Thedarkknightli (talk) 02:35, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Eminem, you may be blocked from editing. Nobody (talk) 13:54, 22 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at T.O.P. Lightoil (talk) 12:12, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Note that being a singer-songwriter and a songwriter are distinct professions. Some singers also write songs for other artists, thus qualifying them as a separate songwriter. Please refrain from categorizing singers who are songwriters as singer-songwriters. Such edits are considered unconstructive and will be reverted by other editors.
