Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talib Kweli, you may be blocked from editing. In particular, the term "murder" should not be used without a reliable source to call it such. I was asked outside of Wikipedia to do so.

If you were asked by Kweli or a party connected to him, then you now have a conflict of interest with the article and should follow those guidelines. You're not prohibited from editing the article, but you need to edit very carefully and make sure you back additions up with reliable sources. —C.Fred (talk) 20:25, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

What I added was a list of songs, why do I need a source for that?

1. I reverted it back to an old version to get back the As Featured Artists List and forgot that it was changed. 2. it was a murder. 3. Funny how I linked the source to Mike Brown's page and it was taken down unnecessarily. 4. Out of curiosity, what authority do you have? This isn't meant to sound rude I am really just curious.

Replying to your points:

1. You should've checked before blindly reverting. Even so, it's undue weight to add his AFAL discography; that should have its own article or be a section of his discography article.
2. According to what source? I don't see how it can be called that when there's been no conviction for murder, much less charges filed. Criminal terms like murder have very specific meanings; it is not Wikipedia's place to apply labels like murder. Further, it's a violation of WP:BLP to call it murder, since it implies the killer is a murderer—which he has not been convicted of, much less charged with. (That said, there's probably something to be said that there should have been a murder indictment, but that's opinion and doesn't reflect what's actually happened.)
3. I don't see where you've edited the article about the killing of Mike Brown at all, so I don't see where you added a source there.
4. All editors are charged with making sure Wikipedia policy stays applied, so I have the same authority as any other user.

Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. Edit warring

You appear to be involved in an edit war on Talib Kweli. This means that you have added material that other editors have disagreed with. When your edits were reverted, you merely replaced them, over and over. Wikipedia has a three-revert rule: you only get to revert others' edits (including edits where they have removed your material) three times; any more than that and you can be blocked to prevent further disruption. Since multiple editors have expressed concern over this material, your proper response is to take the matter to the talk page and try to build consensus for your edits. I added a source instead of you all just taking it down maybe tell me why I can't leave the list up there. I put a source to Kweli's website where one can find this list. There is no reason to continually threaten to block me when I have YET to get a proper explanation for why you people keep taking down the "As Featured Artists" list.

Kweli's own website is not considered a reliable source for this information, because the source is not independent of the subject. But sourced or unsourced, once your change was reverted, you should have opened a discussion about it rather than continually going against the opinions of at least four other editors. to be fair, when no one gives you an explanation as to why its hard to see why they keep changing it. Still should be on the page. No reason for it to need a source just like discography doesn't need one.
