Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wachet auf.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Wachet auf.JPG. The copy called Image:Wachet auf.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 22:30, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Children of Men Edits edit

I removed again the uncited statements regarding the Mahler background music. I think it is great that you were able to catch that, but we cannot use you as a source. We do not use primary sources in Wikipedia, but instead rely specifically on secondary surces. There are lots of reasons for this, but the easiest one to note is that WP can protect itself from lawsuits if it can maintain that everything in the project is something that we have quoted. This is why we cannot quote you or a similar unpublished source.
I have removed the statements to the Discussion page, so that, if they can be properly cited, they can be reinstated. I hope they can be cited, because it would indicate a further layer to the movie that was heretofore unknown. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 02:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of John Cassidy (Author) edit

A tag has been placed on John Cassidy (Author), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 04:09, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
