References for Koleshwar edit

Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Koleshwar are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at How to cite sources. Thanks! • Gene93k (talk) 14:15, 13 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Vyadeshwar edit

We don't include things like prayers on Wikipedia, even more so when they are not in English, this is the English Wikipedia. Please do not restore it again--Jac16888 Talk 12:01, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a travel-guide, local myths and urban legends, prayers and excessive brochure images do not belong here, especially when sourced to an encyclopedia article, as an academic I would expect you to be aware that an encyclopedia cannot be considered a reliable source--Jac16888 Talk 19:29, 21 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Please reply to me here in future, and you don't need to keep making new sections. First of all, just because something is in one article, doesn't justify it being in another, if may just mean nobody has removed it yet. Lets break the article down. First, you have the Story section of myths, with no sources, meaning that it is completely unverified, for all I know you made it up. Yes you say you are an expert but I could make the exact same claim and you have no way to disprove it. Next is Incarnations of Shri Vyadeshwa, which doesn't make it clear what at all this has to do with this temple, likewise for Holy Aarti. I suggest you take a look at some of the better temple articles, such as Airavatesvara Temple or Brihadeeswarar Temple for an example of what you should be aiming for--Jac16888 Talk 02:38, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

OK sir. Fantastic changes made by you........... simply great.......... This is how I wanted to project the page. Don't know how you made it...... Also I will definitely try to improve the page according to your suggestion and as per the reference pages suggested by you. Thanks a lot for guiding me in proper way. Gsmodak (talk) 05:16, 22 December 2012 (UTC) Gsmodak Also sir, The connection between the main topic Vyadeshwara and the incarnations is: People must visit these three forms of the Vyadeshwara also. Then only the pilgrimage of this place will be considered as complete. This is the meaning of incarnations. It is mentioned in the same book by Mr.Shrikant Gowande. Also the Holy aarti is daily chanted in the temple and it specifically relates to this temple. So it is added here. it is suggested indirectly that the concerned devotees of the deity must mug up this aarti. Thanking you, Gsmodak (talk) 13:34, 22 December 2012 (UTC) GsmodakReply
