edit

Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Zoot Allures‎, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 10:59, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Studio Tan‎. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. DVdm (talk) 11:02, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Note: please do not classify or label Frank Zappa albums as studio albums. The standard source https://www.zappa.com/music/official gives sequence numbers, but it does not say anything about studio albums versus live albums, as indeed almost all Zappa albums are a mix of both. This has been discussed at length at Talk:Frank Zappa discography and Talk:Frank Zappa. Check the history. Cheers. - DVdm (talk) 11:08, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Music Notability

edit

Hi and again Welcome Gogarden. I see, while on new page patrol that you're changing pages about rush songs into articles (from redirects). There are rules around what songs should be their own articles versus just included on the album page. It's not clear from the changes you're making that these songs are notable on their own (but they might be). To see the guidelines visit WP:NSONG. I have reverted back to the redirect a couple of these because it's not clear they meet the notability standard. Ping me here or leave a message on my talk page if you have questions. Hi, you edits are similar to that of blocked user:Danieleb82. If this is a new account you created to continue doing the same types of things, you are in danger of getting blocked again. Thanks. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 15:31, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Track listing templates

edit

Hi. We don't add "sides" to the track listing section of an album's article unless its original/primary format is vinyl. For most albums released after the 1980s, this is obviously not the case. Also, we don't disambiguate articles by "(song by Rush)". It's "(Rush song)". The name of the artist first, and not "song by". Thanks. Ss112 02:28, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dirty World, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Supergroup (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing, because it has been used to evade blocks on one or more other accounts. You have been told how to request an unblock on the talk page of your original account, and "just ignore the block and get round it by creating another account" is not what you were told. You may expect that any edits you make while evading your block will be reverted, and any pages you create deleted. At present the option of requesting an unblock still stands, but if you evade your block a second time you will be regarded as banned from editing Wikipedia, and even if you do then ask to be unblocked no administrator will be allowed to unblock you unless a community discussion results in your ban being lifted.
