Copying image files from Commons edit

Hello, Goatgreek. Please note that it is unnecessary to copy image files from WP:COMMONS to Wikipedia. These images can always be used directly on Wikipedia simply by using the same file name. A new page isn't necessary -- and only creates an empty image page. Any image pages created on Wikipedia which duplicate a file are speedily deleted (Read WP:F2). This is the reason all the image pages you are creating on Wikipedia have been deleted. It will be appreciated if you would stop creating these duplicate pages. If you have questions, please ask. Cheers. CactusWriter (talk) 01:48, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

PLEASE READ:Copying image files from Commons edit

Hello, Goatgreek. This is the second time I am posting this same note to you. Please note that it is not necessary to copy image files from WP:COMMONS to Wikipedia. These images can be used directly on Wikipedia simply by using the Commons file name. A new page is not necessary -- and only creates an empty image page. Any image page created on Wikipedia which duplicates a Commons file is speedily deleted (Read WP:F2). This is the reason all these image pages that you are creating on Wikipedia are consistently being deleted. It would be appreciated if you would stop creating these duplicate pages. If you have any questions about this, please ask. CactusWriter (talk) 18:52, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Final Warning edit

Hello, Goatgreek. Instead of requesting Wikilove templates, I would appreciate it if you stopped uploading files from WP:COMMONS to Wikipedia. I have left enough personal notes, as well as template messages, on your talk pages concerning this issue. It should be clear to you by now. Persistence in making edits contrary to Wikipedia policy and guidelines without an overriding positive effect is considered disruptive editing. If the only purpose of your account is to persist in copying files from Commons to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. CactusWriter (talk) 21:16, 14 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
