Writing articles
Miscellaneous

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Gianni Vernetti. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Gianni Vernetti. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--Sandor Clegane (talk) 15:13, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:19, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article edit

I admit I was mistaken in saying that the article was unreferenced. What happened was that the references didn't have the <ref></ref> tags and thus didn't show up under the references section, which made it look like that there were none. So I've fixed those and removed the "unreferenced" bit. However, since you wrote the article, it still falls under Wikipedia:Autobiography.--Sandor Clegane (talk) 02:39, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bio in Portuguese edit

Hello everything is fine? I hope so! Just let us know that the page you created was saved on another wiki called "Everybodywiki Bios & Wiki" https://pt.everybodywiki.com/Gianni_Vernetti (I had to put "nowiki" because the site is blacklisted). I only posted in English to avoid patrolling Wikipedians from pt. I don't agree with what they're doing with your bio in Portuguese, because if I intervene, they will make up an excuse to ask for my block or no. Saskeh (talk) 03:36, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
