Hi--we can't have that stuff in an encyclopedic article, unless there is reliable secondary sourcing that proves it's noteworthy. Having said that, I shared the link with my students who are reading the Inferno right now, and I enjoyed the video, so thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:28, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey, if you have any more of these kinds of links, please let me have them. I started a student project inspired by your video. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 17:01, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm following the lyrics here and here. If that comment about the "tercets" vs. the "sets of five" is correct, that's just absolutely brilliant. I'm a fan now--next up, a song called "Mica van Gogh". Drmies (talk) 17:07, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm glad that you and your students liked the video and I apologize for the editing error. I started editing on wikipedia and I'm still learning how to do it properly. If you or your students want other links to Caparezza work's or other italian pop songs, you just have to ask :). Giacomo Amaddeo ([User talk:Giacomo Amaddeo|talk]) 18:30, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Well, for a case like that, you really need a secondary source to indicate that it matters, one way or another. Did anyone write a review of the song and explicitly discussed Dante? Drmies (talk) 17:34, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Explicity on Dante no, but the italian singer Fabrizio de Andrè wrote a song on the text of "S'io Fosse foco", of the comic poet Cecco Angiolieri contemporary( and probably friend) to Dante Alighieri. The song have the same title as the poetry. Giacomo Amaddeo ([User talk:Giacomo Amaddeo|talk]) 17:49, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
