Speedy deletion nomination of Planeta42.com

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Planeta42.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 18:02, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Civilization advances

edit

Hello Gamemorph,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Civilization advances for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 10:19, 14 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi - the correct place to ask questions about article inclusion is the Teahouse. Please join us there and there will be someone to answer your question or point you to the correct article for what you wanted. (It will probably depend on which advances you mean, since there have been so many a general article would either be too big or too vague for Wikipedia's purposes, or it would be an opinionated essay on what someone considered the best advances in civilisation, which would be inappropriate content for a factual encyclopaedia.)
However, thanks for your interest in Wikipaedia. We always need new contributors who want to write the sort of articles we need, so if you see a gap, draft an article in your sandbox and submit it to WP:Articles for Creation to get some feedback. • I need to note that I've deleted your userpage since it was being used to list various games that you've made. Userpages are supposed to only be about you as far as it pertains to editing on Wikipedia and using it to link to stuff that you've made is considered to be generally inappropriate in this situation. • Hallo, I got it. I'll continue to learn. I'm mostly driven by the idea of an encyclopedia, may be a sci-fi one in the future, that have an interactive application for some, not to say for all, articles in it, so reader can try and gather information not only by reading, but by interacting. I thought that could be my contribution to Wiki. As I realize now, contribution is much more sophisticated. It seems I must dedicate much more time, for something far from my expertise. Thus I trust your judgement in defining what is appropriate for Wiki. I think, some day, to tray and make an article for Electronic Game School in
