Hi Galanda23, some of your recent edits (at Chefchaouen and Argania) have been reverted because you inserted what appear to be promotional links into the articles. Please note that all content on Wikipedia articles must have an encyclopedic purpose, an encyclopedic tone, and must be attributed to reliable sources (e.g. published books and articles by scholars, credible news sources, etc). It is not a place where you can promote a business or a commercial website. Please consult the guidelines at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for more information. If you have any further questions, you can also ask me here. Thanks, R Prazeres (talk) 19:20, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not also insert links to articles that are irrelevant to the topic, as you did here. If you do this again, it may be seen as disruptive editing. R Prazeres (talk) 19:34, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Dear R Prazares,
The links I added to the Argania was very relevant to the topic of why do goats climb on trees in Morocco. The link was pointing to a very informative article that also discusses the staged display of goats for tourist purposes. Yes, you can consider that as "promotional" but it was also providing helpful insight into this subject.
As for Chefchouen, the reason for the blue-painted houses/alleyways of the Medina is not addressed anywhere your article. Then why dismiss my addition? I could rephrase it and use a more encyclopedic tone, but again I'll have to use my article as a reference because it contains more detailed information on the subject. The blue paint is perhaps the biggest reason most people are attracted to Chefchaouen. Galanda23 (talk) 20:04, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi Galanda23, you may not cite that website as it is not a reliable source. If content cannot be verified in reliable sources, then it does not belong in Wikipedia, regardless of relevance. Also, you said "my article" above; are you affiliated with the website (travelnotesandbeyond.com) and are you the author of the articles you cited? R Prazeres (talk) 00:23, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Dudhhr. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Church bell—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. dudhhr talk contribs (he/they) 19:49, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Church bell. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. dudhhr talk contribs (he/they) 19:50, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
