Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:03, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your username is problematic

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "GROUP 2 TEAM TIGER", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it indicates that this account may be used by more than one person, which is not permitted in Wikipedia. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:27, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

High, please can you assist me in changing it? I am the sole editor for this account, but titled it so for an assignment.GROUP 2 TEAM TIGER (talk) 18:54, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hello, please go to Wikipedia:Change username and you can file a request there. You can keep part of the name so long as you add something clarifying that you're one person, like "GROUP 2 TEAM TIGER Bobby" or "PenguinFan of GROUP 2 TEAM TIGER", etc. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:09, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at AfC Tameletjie was accepted

edit

Tameletjie, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Nice work, and sounds delicious! A few small comments:
  • Only bold the very first occurrence of the title term, not thereafter (please fix)
  • Descriptions of ingredients are fine, and a broad description of preparation are fine, but we don't do actual recipes. See WP:NOTCOOKBOOK
  • There's no need to say "photo coming soon" or whatnot. Just either have a photo there or don't ;) . I hope you can add a photo though, that'll be cool. If the photo is taken by you yourself, and you're willing to allow the whole world to use it, please use Wikimedia Commons to upload it. Check in at WP:Teahouse if you have any trouble doing so. Nice work, and hope to see more from you! MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:11, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Thank you very much! I only saw now where you mentioned that we can't include recipes, does that apply even if the recipe is not copyrighted?

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, GROUP 2 TEAM TIGER, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 15:00, 14 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
