Hi Fabio, no, largely everything is done by volunteers and most often "firms" or free-lancers are scams so best to stay away from folks offering to write an article for a fee. As for the citations, you are close but you need to add them in the actual prose. For example, you need to add a citation to a reliable source that supports the statement Jankelson "is considered the father of the Neuromuscular Occlusion concept" and so forth. See my sandbox for a simple example. If you have questions or need help, you can ask at the Teahouse. S0091 (talk) 15:42, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the information. The phrase "is considered the father of the Neuromuscular Occlusion concept" is cited on the ICCMO website. This phrase is endorsed by every member. Unless it a genetic (father) dna testing, it cannot be proved, correct? So I can edit to " is the developer of the Neuromuscular Occlusion concept". All the other references do state this and is ojective data. So why is stating to be the father of something not the same as creator? if so, the semantic limitations encountered in Wikipedia should all be subject to revision. Correct? Thank you for helping. What am I supposed to do now?
Fabio Fsavasta (talk) 15:52, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The issue with the ICCMO is that he founded it so it is not an independent source which is what is needed to make such an exceptional claim and generally multiple are needed. I must ask, did/do you have any affiliation with Jankelson or the ICCMO? Please see the conflict of interest guidelines for additional details. Even if you do have a COI, that does not preclude you from working the draft but it must declared.
I have done some work on the draft (found some additional sources, etc.) but since I have no expertise in the area, I will need your help. Do you have access to medical journals (such as the Journal of the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics)? S0091 (talk) 18:19, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
