Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time

edit

It's really not formatted like a Wikipedia article, and has a number of issues (such as that Wikipedia articles are not generally allowed to use other Wikipedia articles as formal references or sources). AnonMoos (talk) 16:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Comments by Henryk Frystacki, 18:50 (UTC), 4th of December,

Item No.1: It does not cite any references or sources. Please help improve it by citing reliable sources. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: This issue has been resolved by citing many reliable sources that link to the article.

Item No.2: The notability of this article's subject is in question. If notability cannot be established, it may be listed for deletion or removed. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: This issue has been tackled. The notability of this article's subject is not anymore in question, because it is the discussion result of about 60 renowned experts in quantum physics, theory of relativity, and engineering with aspects of quantum mechanics.

Item No.3: It reads like a personal reflection or essay. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: This issue has been resolved by shortening, introducing headwords, and concentration on the essential.

Item No. 4: It may be confusing or unclear for some readers. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: The readability has been considerably improved by many links to related subjects that explain scientific background. The design and the wording of the descriptions have been chosen for a large circle of readers, not only for experts in that subject.

Item No. 5: It has few or no links to other articles. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: This issue has been considerably improved. The article has now many useful links to other articles that help also to dig deeper into this one.

Item No. 6.: Very few or no other articles link to it. Please help introduce links to this page from other articles related to it. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: Being a new subject, the links to this article can only grow. Please support.

Item No. 7: It may need to be wikified to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. Tagged since December 2010.

Action: There have been a lot of efforts to wikify the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. Please help, where it could be further improved. The 2 pictures should be enlarged to recognize the content without enlargement feature. The improvement of the article will intenisvely continue, as the global discussion about the rotational symmetry of quantized space-time with many experts will spread fast.

Thank you for any further ideas and for your support, Henryk --18:50, 4 December 2010 User:Frystacki

Possible confllct of interest

"Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time" is not the result of a research but the result of putting well-known facts of physics together that have been, without any exception, already published during the last 100 years. Therefore, it might fit well into Wikipedia, as it is one of the targets of Wikipedia to refer to and to link to such sources. Henryk

No original research

edit

Hello Frystacki, your contribution "Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time" appears to be original research. However, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, based on reliable sources (which are articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, with respect to the current subject). So, only after the line of reasoning -- as presented in your article -- has been published in a scientific journal (and is notable through citations and discussions in papers by others), it has a chance to be included in Wikipedia. For the dissemination of original research, Wikipedia is not the appropriate forum. -- Crowsnest (talk) 12:08, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time" is not the result of a research. It reflects the result of putting very well-known facts of physics together that have been already published during the last 100 years. Therefore, it might fit well into Wikipedia, as it is one of the targets of Wikipedia to refer to and to link to such sources. Henryk Frystacki--Frystacki (talk) 12:06, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello Henryk. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not meant for publishing such a synthesis of material, see WP:SYN. Conclusions or interpretations which are published here should already be covered in so-called primary and secondary sources, see WP:PSTS. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia (a tertiary source). Thanks for the assessments

edit

“Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time” is in fact the extract of a serious discussion with 60 internationally highly respected scientists. The article does not yet describe an accomplished fact of science but the discussion process towards a model that combines unambiguously quantum physics with the theory of relativity. It will take time that these scientific findings may spread across all media on a global scale. Thank you for all assessments. They help to improve our version for interested lay people. We will submit an article to Wikipedia, once we think that we meet the criteria. Up to this moment please bear in mind for publications in Wikipedia that “Rotational symmetry of quantized space-time”, “Escape of Time” and “Flucht der Zeit “ are subject to copyright.
