Proposed deletion of Muhammad Yusuf (poet)

edit

The article Muhammad Yusuf (poet) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Uzbekistan Airways, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 23:20, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Uzbekistan Airways. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Hall of Uzbekistan

edit

Hello Fredrep90,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hall of Uzbekistan for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Joel.Miles925 (talk) 13:17, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Hall of Bunyodkor

edit

Hello, Fredrep90. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Hall of Bunyodkor, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thursby16 (talk) 17:17, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

edit

You appear to have been trying to create separate articles for various halls in the National Library of Uzbekistan. These articles have failed because:

  • They were poorly written, and did not adequately explain what their subject was, or why it was notable.
  • They had only one source (from which most of the material appeared to be copied), and that source did not meet Wikipedia guidelines for verifiability.
  • You attempted to remove the deletion tags yourself, which as the creator you are not allowed to do.

Rather than attempt to write articles about individual halls, you might consider trying to expand the information already on the National Library of Uzbekistan page. I recommend that you start small, with just a few words about each hall, and without mass copying. A few well-written sentences are better than pages of material that doesn't make sense. Look for some sources other than the library's own pages too, or your material may be removed again. I hope this helps. ubiquity (talk) 18:02, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Muhammad Yusuf (poet)

edit

The article Muhammad Yusuf (poet) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable person.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
