Speedy deletion nomination of Fehmarnfestival

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fehmarnfestival, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - MrX 23:23, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Otto Neitzel

Why did you delete my article / translation about Otto Neitzel?

Hello, Frank Frey.
I wasn't the person who removed the material you added in 2015, but I'm afraid I have just had to remove it again after another volunteer editor noticed the same problem with it as was identified the first time.
Content that is added to Wikipedia must be freely licensed. I gather at least part of what you added was a translation of the material on the German Wikipedia. While that is freely licensed, there are conditions on using it, including that you must give proper attribution to the original. Without that, the translated material is a copyright violation that we can't publish.
If I could have identified all the sources you used, I could have kept the content with attribution (if all those sources were Wikipedia). However, unfortunately, only part of it was translated from the German Wikipedia article. Since there was material that could not be identified, it had to be all removed.
If perchance you would like to put it back, you may be able to do so, but please read the instructions for doing so here: Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia#Translating_from_other_language_Wikimedia_projects. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:17, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
