I have reverted your attempt to make an article here, as it was not ready for creation. For guidance in making an article, see this help page. You can work on a draft in draftspace, such as at Draft:Jason Ward (musician). As a side note, an article would need to be titled something like Jason Ward (musician), since we have other articles on people with that name already. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Thank you, and happy editing! QuicoleJR (talk) 17:43, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Foxy Davis12: You can continue to work on your article in the draft space, at Draft:Jason Ward (musician). DO NOT continue to attempt to make the article in mainspace. QuicoleJR (talk) 18:48, 6 May 2024 (UTC)

Your draft edit
Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. In regard to the draft referenced above, and specifically to reply to the comment you left on the draft, im writing you here.
First, any edits you made after the last decline template were removed in the process of restoring the decline templates and the comments. You're not allowed to remove them. When and if your draft is approved, the approving editor will clean those things up prior to moving your draft into the encyclopedia.
In reply to your comment, you cannot use any information you've gathered from interviews with the subject. Encyclopedias are by their very nature a tertiary document. That means that all information included in an encyclopedia article must be paraphrased from reliable secondary sources, which you should cite. For a biography of a living person, every fact requires a citation. If there is not enough published information about your subject, then he is not notable enough to qualify for a biography on Wikipedia.
In a comment on the draft, I suggested you read the instructional essay WP:My first article. In addition, I'd suggest familiarizing yourself with the main rules, aka The Five Pillars, with special attention on verifiability and neutral point of view. As the subject of your draft is someone you know, you should also read WP:COI, a subsection of the neutral point of view policy which deals with editors who have inherent conflict of interest. The policy on why you cannot use interviews or observations you've made yourself, see WP:NOR. The link above to the Teahouse can be very helpful. Sorry to be a downer. As we used to say, Wikipedia is the encyclopedia anyone can contribute to; but it's not the encyclopedia you can contribute anything to. 4.37.252.50 (talk) 01:18, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
