Waterpower project

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Waterpower project, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://www.projekte.hu-berlin.de/waterpower.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Waterpower project

edit

Hello Felipecoelho85,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Waterpower project for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. LS1979 (talk) 10:34, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I see you have removed the tags, but you've also rewritten it in your own words (WP:Copyvio cannot be allowed to stand, and the message above was posted by an automated program), so I doubt there will be a problem going forward. I will look over the article and copy-edit it etc to improve it to stub-class, so that other editors can see it and work on it later. However, when you create another article, please do not use text from other places as placeholders: that is going to get something speedily deleted. Always begin an article in your own words. Thank you. LS1979 (talk) 19:28, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
I've done some editing to get it up to WP standards. However, in order to avoid this being flagged for deletion, please see if you can find some third-party, neutral reliable sources. At the moment it looks like you are just posting something that is an individual university research project, which may not be notable enough for Wikipedia's standards. Speedy deletion nomination of Waterpower project

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Waterpower project requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Waterpower project

edit

The article Waterpower project has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of significance.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
