File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Fien2022Track.png edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Fien2022Track.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 10:45, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Infobox images edit

Hello! I would like to ask you to enter the file name simply as is when adding images to infoboxes. As an example, you should put |image=Image PlaceHolder.png instead of |image=File:Image PlaceHolder.png (per WP:IBI). Thank you for your recent additions of the tracks of storms to 2022–23 European windstorm season    かなあ?  (talk) 17:54, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

No problem, next time I insert a track I will use |image=Image PlaceHolder.png instead. EuropeanXTwisters (talk) 19:03, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

maps edit

Hello. Do you draw the images entirely yourself or do you take ready-made maps? — Ирука13 05:24, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I draw them entirely myself and then upload them to Wikipedia. EuropeanXTwisters (talk) 07:44, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
On the file description pages, please indicate which program you used for this. — Ирука13 07:51, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:FienTrack2023.png edit

The file File:FienTrack2023.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant to File:Track of Storm Fien 2023.png

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deadly tornadoes project edit

Hey EuropeanXTwisters! Myself along with several other editors are working on an ambitious project: A list of every deadly tornado.

Since it is a large project, I am just letting others with an interest in meteorology know about it.

You are more than welcome to help out if you wish to. The project can be found here in case you want to help out: User:WeatherWriter/List of deadly tornadoes. If you have questions about it, feel free to ask me. Cheers and have a wonderful day! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 06:23, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
