License tagging for Image:River Vrnjacka.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:River Vrnjacka.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hello! Euro.Serb is not the appropriate place to post information about yourself, because it is in the part of Wikipedia where encyclopaedic articles are written. A "userpage" at User:Euro.Serb, however, is available for personal information about yourself. When adding personal information please remember that Wikipedia is not MySpace. Your userpage is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project. It is a mistake to think of it as a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. Your page in Serbian edit

It shouldn't be hard to do, you just register the same way and log in the same way. On your mainpage you can put a brief description of yourself if you want to, for example: Zovem se <<name>> i živim u Australiji... You can play around with templates as well, like language templates indicating your level of fluency. It doesn't matter if your Serbish is good or bad, really, you won't get excluded. You could view an example of a vague user page using language templates here: [1]. Another example of a normal user page there:[2]. If you already have an SR wiki account, feel free to contact me there if you need anything or want to get started on your page. Good luck :) --Bolonium 22:41, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I noticed you removed a large portion of discussion from the Talk:Molitva page, and you marked it as a "minor edit" with no edit summary. Such edit in violation of the Wikipedia Talk page guidelines, regardless of how inconvenient or insulting the text you removed was from your point of view. Therefore I reverted your edit. Molitva edit

In cas of a controversy, it is oftenly the best to have it laid out on Wikipedia. Especially in this specific case: a number of people have heard already from tabloids and similar sources that the song is plagiarised. When they read about the song on Wikipedia, if there is no mention of it, they will still have that opinion. However, if they read that very author of the supposedly plagiarised song disagrees, they will certainly change it. Nikola 11:48, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Spam in Air South Charter Destinations edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Air South Charter Destinations, by Grahamec, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Air South Charter Destinations is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Air South Charter Destinations, please affix the template hangon to the page, and put a note on its talk page. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Air South Charter Destinations itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 03:02, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to Image:Air Prishtina.jpg edit

Message posted on Thursday, May 31, 2007 edit

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Image:Air Prishtina.jpg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?id=0729600 in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
 • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Image:Air Prishtina.jpg with a link to where we can find that note;
 • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Image:Air Prishtina.jpg with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a hangon tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Image:Air Prishtina.jpg saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

I did not add information that if Jat gets sold they will get a license (why would it?). Jat is not the one that gives out licenses. I also did not add that they leased out any aircrafts (the information proided is completely false). There has been no talk of this airlines for years and it will probably never see the light of day. I also don’t know how many aircrafts Jat could get if it gets sold. Somone has just made their imagination run wild on that page.

Airline route end dates edit

When an airline announces that it is ending service, editors put up the end date. Not only does this enhance the information, indicating how long a route will last, it also provides a note to other editors, so when someone goes to clean up a page, he or she can easily see if any routes have ended and should be deleted. This is the format that has been used for some time. If you object to it, please bring it up on the Airport project talk page. Thanks. DB (talk) 07:31, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Constantine the Great Cross.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Constantine the Great Cross.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Hi Euro.Serb, you noteced my inserting of KOS flag for Pristina airport on the list. Hey, I am Serb, and I have my view on the issue, but knowing how wiki works I can just tell you that the situation will remain like than (having SRB flag) as long as someone pro-Kosovar doesn´t find the article. Then, I garantee you that they will edit-war to remove totally the Serbian flag, and not only adding the Kosovar one, as I did. Anyway, your edit summary saying "Because the article says Kosovo is Serbian" isn´t really an argument. We can both have our touth on the matter, but honestly, having simply one flag either one (KOS or SRB) doesn´t really say the trouth to the readers. There is actually a template for this situation where it is said that Kosovo is a "disputed territory". Anyway, I was just in favour for this ocasions to have both flags, because the "disputed template" lists it simply as "Kosovo" with a reference to the fact that is a disputed territory, so all I did was find a solution to have SRB flag displayed. From some previous experiences I just remmebred that having both flags was actually a situation that was kind of mostly accepted by pro-Kosovar editors. But in cases of edit-wars between have one or another one, actually the Kosovar one wins, with the reference at bottom (which is btw worste for us). Anyway, I´m not going to edit war you, but when someone else comes to edit-war you on this, don´t say I didn´t warned you. Пoздpaв! FkpCascais (talk) 20:33, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Neutral wording edit

Please refrain from changing the text in List of the busiest airports in the former Yugoslav countries from "Serbia (with Kosovo)" to just "Serbia". We must maintain a neutral point of view in Wikipedia, therefore we can neither refer to Kosovo as being part of Serbia, nor as a separate country. Saying "Serbia (with Kosovo)" is neutral because it can be interpreted either way: Serbia including Kosovo, or Serbia and additionally Kosovo. Not perfect, but it is the best we can do I think. Bazonka (talk) 13:46, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I notice that you have also now removed the "(with Kosovo)" qualifier from the title bar of Template:Airports in Serbia. For exactly the reasons described above, this is POV and unacceptable. Please discuss on the template's talk page if you disagree. Bazonka (talk) 07:38, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:CairHall.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:CairHall.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
