File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Parkview small.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Parkview small.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 00:20, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Image problems edit

Please stop uploading images for which you fail to add the appropriate needed details, or whose details you don't have. We take copyright status and sourcing very seriously and the images you uploaded don't have this information, so have been nominated for deletion. If you did not take the photos yourself and they are copyright to someone else, or you found them on a website, please don't upload them unless you have permission of the copyright holder. We also need to know the source website or publication so we can check any copyright tag you add to an image. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 00:21, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

License information needed for File:NewarkES.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:NewarkES.jpg. However, we need to make sure a license is correctly displayed before it is okay to use on Wikipedia.

Please click here and do the following:

  1. Choose the appropriate license template: it needs to be a free license, in the public domain, or have a non-free use rationale. If you need help, you may ask at the media copyright questions page.
  2. Paste in the template code, and save the page.

If you follow these steps, your image can help enhance Wikipedia. Thank you for your contribution! --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Image Removal edit

Hey just wondering why all of the pictures I contributed to the page on Mountain Dew were removed. I noticed the removal was cited as "removed serious damage and arguments from page." I took the pictures myself and claimed them as free so I'm unclear on why this was a problem. Thanks! Wwv998 (talk) 22:25, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Footville elementary school edit

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Footville elementary school, which you proposed for deletion, because the page you proposed for deletion was not an article. If you still think the page should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to it, as proposed deletion is only for articles. Instead, consider using Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion for this page. In some cases, a speedy deletion criterion may apply. Thanks! KTC (talk) 21:38, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Parkview Grade Schools edit

The article Parkview Grade Schools has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable elementary & primary school.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Parkview Grade Schools edit

Please be extremely careful of why, and whom, you accuse of vandalism. Your edits have been legitimately reverted. The article is not notable and fails WP:GNG and WP:ORG. Please inform yourself of relevant policies before making such claims. Thanks. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 04:28, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Orfordville Elementary School.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Orfordville Elementary School.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 02:22, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
