Hi there, thanks for your message. I would like to understand more about the citations so that I can update them to be more in line with what Wiki requires. I also have drafted new copy which is more neutral in tone. Can you let me know which of these qualify and which do not? Thank you CityGirl1978 16:31, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello Erikamehiel. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Hi there,

I am not being paid to create this article, however I do know the subject and have offered to help. I have rewritten the copy to be neutral in tone, but I can't figure out how to disclose our relationship on my user page. The instructions say to paste

This user has publicly declared that they have a conflict of interest regarding the Wikipedia article Title of your draft.

on my user page but as a replacement for a title, and I don't see that field. I would like to comply, I just can't figure out how. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks CityGirl1978 16:33, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
