Signature edit

Hey there. I'd recommend setting your signature here on the English Wikipedia to El Mono Español <small>¿Qué me dices? instead of El Mono Español <small>¿Qué me dices?. I was having a hard time finding your English user page :) You could perhaps link to your Spanish profile from this page? Regards, – Þjarkur (talk) 19:38, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 11 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Creole cuisine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Larousse. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Hi El Mono Español! Thank you for your edits to Snail as food. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Escargot into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 19:25, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Dan Cherek, thanks for letting me know. How can I add this information to the Edit Summary? Can I? Greetings – El Mono 🐒 (es.wiki account) 19:28, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have already done this for you in the edit summary here, so you can do something like that for future instances. Let me know if you have any questions about that. DanCherek (talk) 23:44, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Snail as food and Escargot edit

Hello El Mono Español,

I see that in this edit you replaced the contents of Escargot with the contents of Snail as food. The talk page Talk:Escargot shows a specific opposition to this, explaining that escargot is a specific snail dish and is not about snails as food in general. In my opinion your edit to Escargot should be reverted and the merge should only concern the articles Snails as food and Snail as food. JIP | Talk 23:38, 22 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also El Mono Español,

Your edits have now left all three articles Snail as food, Snails as food and Escargot as effective duplicates of each other, with identical contents. Duplicate articles should be avoided - if you want to go through the merge process, the final step should be to pick one of the articles (most probably the one with the longest edit history) and turn the other articles into redirects to that article. JIP | Talk 00:43, 23 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Merge completed edit

I have completed the merge between snail as food, snails as food and escargot by changing snail as food and escargot into redirects to snails as food as all three articles had identical contents. JIP | Talk 14:39, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
