Speedy deletion nomination of Apex Parks Group edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Apex Parks Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. June 2020 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ovation Brands, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Rosalina2427 (talk page here) 19:16, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Ovation Brands, you may be blocked from editing. Rosalina2427 (talk page here) 02:09, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Six Flags edit

Hi, Nice to meet you ~ just thought you would like to know ~ I did start a new discussion about Six Flags properties and the discussion of the campground at Six Flags Darien Lake ~ thanks User:Jpp858 (talk) 00:17, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Howdy! Darien lakes campground may not be considered one of the 26 properties but it is indeed a separate entity from the park. It has its own gate, and it’s distanced from the property In a way therefore I have decided to add it into Darien lakes opening. I have made it clear in the section that the campgrounds are only opened, the theme park is not open. Please stop changing it, thanks :) Dyll222 (talk) 02:35, 11 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Dyll222:: Please discuss before reverting edits on the Six Flags page. Find other users to bring into the discussion. We can all find the perfect solution to this problem. Without a discussion, you might come into violation of a edit war. "An editor who repeatedly restores their preferred version is edit warring, regardless of whether those edits are justifiable: "But my edits were right, so it wasn't edit warring" is no defense." --Jpp858 (talk) 04:47, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
The Six Flags app also shows Great America is closed yet the water park is opening 7/20. How come on this page theirs says open?? Dyll222 (talk) 18:36, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • You have been pinged to the discussion at Talk:Six Flags#2010–present. I suggest you post further comments there instead of here. More than one editor has disagreed with the changes you're making, and to avoid further disruption in the article, it would be wise to discuss your suggestions at the talk page before ramming them into the article. --GoneIn60 (talk) 20:23, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

July 2020 edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Rosalina2427 (talk) 23:40, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Six Flags; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. GoneIn60 (talk) 16:46, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ovation Brands edit

Hi, I noticed that you've re-added content to Ovation Brands. To meet WP:VERIFY, could you cite reliable sources for your edits? Examples can be found here for reference. Thanks, Rosalina2427 (talk) 04:59, 8 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Rosalina2427: I've reverted their entire edit strand as the writing is completely malformed and per WP:CIR. To the editor; please proofread your writing before you post it here, as it can be reverted if it makes no sense. "AYCE" is jargon to everyone outside the foodservice and buffet industry, and the concept needs better explanation, which has not been given at all. Also, since you have persisted here, please read our conflict of interest policy and declare if you have an interest in Ovation. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 07:22, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why don’t you check their social media pages. They have reopened only 3 locations (Ryan’s) and they are no longer a buffet. They are not an AYCE = All You Can Eat Marketplace. Do your research buddy Dyll222 (talk) 23:59, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

This doesn't answer my question, nor is it civil. AYCE is jargon. I, along with the average consumer, have no idea what it is, and consumers still expect to walk into a buffet restaurant. And their personal web presences aren't a source; we need neutral, third-party sources as to what the concept is. Nate (chatter) 05:09, 14 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 3 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Six Flags Darien Lake, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Lord & Taylor edit

Here is the actual bankruptcy filing which is done by Le Tote [1]. If you read through the filing you will see that the L&T entities are included within the actual filing done by Le Tote. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 19:40, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is the tricky thing that you really need to understand business and how these things work. A lot of WP:RS will state things simply like L&T filed but that doesn't mean that they aren't simplifying things. In terms of the going out of business vs liquidating, the exact quote was:
"While we are still entertaining various opportunities, we believe it is prudent to simultaneously put the remainder of the stores into liquidation to maximize value of inventory for the estate while pursuing options for the company's brands," Ed Kremer, Lord & Taylor's chief restructuring officer said in a statement.
You can see very clearly they are liquidating the assets, and closing the stores, but they are not going to be defunct and they are not going out of business. I see based on your talk page that El_C has blocked you previously for unsourced edits, which it appears you are continuing to do. Your edits have been reversed by multiple people, including one person who posted on the pages talk page. However rather than discussing and responding you have chosen to revert to your preferred version which is not backed up by the facts. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 19:46, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one week for adding unsourced content, still. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

Read this source it says both filed for bankruptcy. https://www.thefashionlaw.com/lord-taylor-and-owner-le-tote-file-for-bankruptcy/ Dyll222 (talk) 23:14, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
And you have failed to cite this source until now because...? El_C 23:19, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Where’s your source that they’re not going defunct or going out of business?? They are clearly going out of Business, their website and stores are closing down yet you say they are not going defunct? Listen to yourself... you have no clue what your talking about. amp.usatoday.com/amp/5643258002 Dyll222 (talk) 10:43, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I gave you the quote. Closing stores doesnt not mean the company is going out of business. There is a difference. If Le Tote still operates Lord & Taylor LLC, then they company didnt go out of business, even if they arent selling anything. They may still exist and own the trade marks and other intellectual property that they hope to sell. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 14:21, 24 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Dyll222. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 15:03, 24 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
This is your last chance. If you evade this block, like you did with your last block, the next block will likely be indefinite. I appreciate you are now supporting your edits with references, but evading a block to make these edits is against the sockpuppetry policy. October 2020 edit

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you.
