Kim Rudd

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kim Rudd, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.nqwliberals.ca/nqwliberals/biography.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Regarding Kim Rudd

edit

I saw the note you left on the talk page of Kim Rudd. I deleted the page because it was a copyright infringement of this page. You cannot copy and paste text from other sites, as that infringes upon copyrights. Articles should be written from scratch, and any information used should cite a reliable source.

Another note: when you reply to a message someone leaves on your user talk page, please reply on your own user talk page or theirs. I saw your helpme was trying to draw User:Cirt's attention. If you want to talk to that user, simply leave a message on User talk:Cirt. GorillaWarfare talkcontribs 03:45, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Deleted Page

edit

A page of mine was deleted by an editor, I don't understand why. His explaination is above however the website he said was a copyright is not the original website, how do I prove this?

(~~User:Dwakely~~)

It was last updated in March 23, 2010. And even if it was not the original website, saying that implies that it was taken from a website. That is also still not acceptable. Besides, the text itself, as it stands, is not neutral and has no inline references. Wikipedia can not be used for promotional purposes. Being a Biography of a living person, they would have been deleted anyway. The best thing you can do now is to rewrite the article as a userspace draft and reword the text. Reference the information to reliable and independent sources, and avoid a biased/subjective/non-neutral tone.
Please read this for the policy by which it was deleted under: Wikipedia:Copyvio --ObsidinSoul 05:10, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Advice to recreate an article

edit

Hi Dwakely,

Many new users face this problem. If you would like to create a stub which will remain on Wikipedia, there are a number of things you can do.

1. As of now, you can recreate it in Userspace as User:Dwakely/Kim Rudd.

2. Add references to it. This is a must to show it is notable. This is really vital.

Useful reference can be added inline. At the bottom of the article be sure to add this wikitext also:

==References==
<references/>

3. Add a stub to it. I recommend {{Canada-politician-stub}}.

4. Add a category/categories to it. I recommend Category:People from Northumberland County, Ontario and Category:Ontario politicians.

5. Submit it through Articles for Creation.

Hope this helps!

Proposed deletion of Kim Rudd

edit

The article Kim Rudd has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
