Speedy deletion of BLADEWiki

edit

A tag has been placed on BLADEWiki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ninety:one 21:15, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I tagged the article for deletion again, since the issues that were there last time it was deleted still aren't adressed. There is no indication of notability for the software. If you believe this is incorrect, and this is in fact a notable product, feel free to change the article to reflect this, and add a {{hangon}} to the article. It might be a good idea to review WP:1ST aswell, which is a guide to creating articles, and everything that comes with that. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 21:50, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of BLADEWiki

edit

The article BLADEWiki has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. J Milburn (talk) 21:52, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of BLADEWiki

edit

I have nominated BLADEWiki, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BLADEWiki. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ninety:one 22:14, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Seriously, do you not get the message? Unless you have sources that prove the notability of the subject, stop reposting. I must warn you that disruptive editing can lead to your editing rights being removed. J Milburn (talk) 22:21, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Blade.wiki.search.desktop.jpg

edit

The file File:Blade.wiki.search.desktop.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for BLADEWiki. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:05, 28 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
