Water purification edit

Thank you for your edits on Water purification additional input is nearly always valuable. However, a number of your edits seem to reflect the position in the USA which is not necessarily the position elsewhere in the world. An example is your re-editing of the classification of waters - the classification you have put forward is very USA centric and is supported by US published texts. There is no problem with using examples from the USA but it does need to be balanced with examples from elsewhere and we do need to ensure that the article remains balanced in a world-wide view. Thanks  Velella  Velella Talk   08:25, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm! You are right. Those were USA centric comments. Lowland and upland designations seem to be more world-wide based on early usage in England that spread to the continent and other countries. The terminology is not understood in the U.S. I think that your edit captures the differences and informs the reader. As you can tell, I am a new participant and I am willing to learn. Thank you. Efficiency edit

You're doing some damn good work here, and I'd like to suggest that you bypass the AfC process from now on. Just create the articles directly in mainspace. DS (talk) 11:55, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Diana Gould edit

Hi, thanks for the message. I took another look at the article, and removed most of the templates. Good work on that one. The only one I've left is {{notability}}, because I'm still not sure whether she meets our notability guideline for people; I'll leave that for others to consider. I've also added some categories based on the text of the article, feel free to change them if you think anything's wrong. Robofish (talk) 13:08, 15 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

The categories look good to me. Thanks. Drinkingwaterdoc (talk) 20:15, 15 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

User:Drinkingwaterdoc/sandbox edit

Hi there, I removed the square brackets around the categories in User:Drinkingwaterdoc/sandbox because they were making it appear in the article space categories diff. User drafts aren't supposed to appear in those categories. Please just add the square brackets back when you move it to the mainspace. Kind regards, James086Talk 13:29, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ah Ha! Now I understand. Makes sense. Thank you. Drinkingwaterdoc (talk) 17:11, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for February 21 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Michael J. McGuire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Research Council (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
