Speedy deletion nomination of Dr Pramod Kumar Diwakar

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr Pramod Kumar Diwakar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ― A Poor Historian (talk) 15:38, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Dr Pramod Kumar Diwakar. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. shoy (reactions) 15:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Multiple copies of a page

edit

Please don't create more than one copy of a page. Doing so causes various problems, such as difficulty for other editors to keep track of changes to the pages, and in any case it serves no useful purpose. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:07, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Since posting the above message I have found that you have not only created multiple copies of a page, but have submitted more than one of them as articles for creation. Doing that is harmful to Wikipedia, as it causes reviewers to waste time reviewing drafts that have already been reviewed under different titles, which takes up time that could have been used on more useful work. I also note that you have continued to edit in ways that you have been warned not to do, without showing any sign of taking any notice of what you have been told. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and we need to cooperate. Editors who ignore Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and who make no attempt to communicate with other editors in connection with concerns about their editing, are liable to be blocked from editing by Wikipedia administrators. You can read for yourself all the reasons why your editing has been considered disruptive, but the fundamental point is that you are clearly interested only in using Wikipedia as a medium for self-promotion, and you are willing to anything you can to try to succeed in doing so. You are very welcome to start contributing to Wikipedia in other ways, but if your only interest is in publicising your post CV or résumé then Wikipedia is not the right place for you. Your draft article, Draft:Pramod Kumar Diwakar

edit

Hello, Dr Pramod Kumar Diwakar. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Pramod Kumar Diwakar".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:31, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
