September 2007 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions. This is a simple mistake to make and by now should have been corrected. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. — BillC talk 01:41, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Theory of Structure and Counterstructure edit

I have proposed that the article 'Theory of Structure and Counterstructure' be deleted. If you go to the articles page, it will give you a link to the discussion about whether the article is appropriat for wikipedia. I had very mixed feelings about this, and those are reflected in my comments about the proposed deletion. I hope that this will not put you off editing Wikipedia. Wikipeida has a no orginal research rule, however. So, it would be preferable for you to edit articles that were not about your own ideas and were properly referenced to reliable secondary sources. This might sound slightly backwards, but I hope you can see the reasoning behind it. Anarchia 21:46, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Kate Dobbin edit

A tag has been placed on Kate Dobbin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 01:00, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kate Dobbin edit

Did what I could to try to source this. Not sure she meets WP:BIO. IF you can find more/better sources, it will help support the argument to keep. Dlohcierekim 02:59, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
