English spelling differences edit
In a recent edit to the page Association football, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. The file File:SamurizeMeter.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned file, no foreseeable encyclopedic use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion discussion about Andrew Heaton edit
Hello, Donatj, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Tamingimpala, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Andrew Heaton, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Speedy deletion nomination of Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company edit

A tag has been placed on Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://web.archive.org/web/20150801004446/http://jetstar.minneapolis-moline.com:80/minneapolis.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

- @M.Ashraf333 - So what happened here is I had taken the text and citation from https://tractors.fandom.com/wiki/Minneapolis_Threshing_Machinery which clearly states "content is available under CC-BY-SA" so I had assumed it was fine to use. (Re-reading that license, that probably wasn't a correct assumption either)
- What I hadn't considered the text itself would have been directly lifted from the cited page. I had to go look the page up from the wayback machine as the citation on that page is broken, gave it a scan without realizing what I was reading was identical to that of the fandom page, and used what I'd assumed was CC-BY-SA.
