Adding reference on Wikipedia articles edit

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello Dmuc! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,

This will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. You can read more about it on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv. thanks and regards --DBigXray 22:15, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your unhelpful edits on Agni (missile) edit

Policy edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Agni (missile), please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

There are many things which wikipedia is not. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, blog, webspace provider, social network, or a memorial site. Wikipedia is not a collection of unverifiable conjectures or speculative reports. Thank you. Mrt3366 (Talk?) 15:18, 28 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Some of your edits edit

How it was before After you made unsourced changes Note
The Agni missile (Sanskrit: अग्नि, Agnī, "fire" and also the Hindu god of fire, a cognate of Latin ignis, "fire", hence English ignite) is a family of medium to intercontinental range ballistic missiles developed by India, named after one of the five elements of nature. The Agni missile (Sanskrit: अग्नि, Agnī, "fire" and also the Hindu god of fire, a cognate of Latin ignis, "fire", hence English ignite) is a family of medium range missiles developed by India, named after one of the five elements of nature. I understand your point. But this article is about the list Agni missiles. There is an ICBM in that series too. Hence, you should restore the underlined section.
Weighing 12 tonne with a length of 15 metres, Agni-1 has a range of 700–1200 km and is capable of carrying a conventional payload of 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) or a nuclear warhead Weighing 12 tonne with a length of 15 metres, Agni-1 is capable of carrying a conventional or a nuclear warhead The full range and payload mass is important. You might want to restore the underlined section.
Agni-II with a range of 2,000–2,500 km is 20 metres long, has a diameter of one metre, and weighs around 18 tonnes. Agni-II with a range of 2,000–2,500 km is 20 metres long, has a diameter of one metre, and weighs around 16-17 tonnes. Cite a reliable source which backs your claim (marked in red) explicitly, otherwise just reinstate the previous info without making anymore edits.

February 2016 edit

Hello, I'm IronGargoyle. I noticed that you recently removed some content from National Games of India  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:54, 12 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to National Games of India with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.
