 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 03:10, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Psycho (1960 film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please do not replace sourced information with unsourced information. He is doing it again on the List of highest-grossing films in India. CrashLandingNew (talk) 17:53, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding unreliable data. edit

Stop posting unreliable data on pages like you did on the List of highest-grossing films in India. You are adding your own calculations to determine the highest grossing film(your favourite film maybe) instead of a reliable, verified source. You appear to be a sock of a blocked user. I've reported you. CrashLandingNew (talk) 17:49, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

The figures for films like Mughal-e-Azam (1960) or Mother India (1957) have been there for many years now. It is practically impossible if you are accusing me for adding those figures years ago. You can look into the timing when these figures were actually added if you want. Similar figures for the same films and some other films are present on other Wikipedia pages as well like the one about List of highest-grossing Indian movies. I had only taken the rate of inflation used for the films of that period and made subsequent updates for the films released in the same year. Additionally, the earlier data has been replaced by some data from an IMDb list by the editor who reported me. These lists are strictly personal and user created with absolutely no research or tracking whatsoever. IMDb lists do not comply with Wikipedia policy to be used as a citation. Please look into the issue. Dk353 (talk) 19:27, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please look the user who reported me User:CrashLandingNew is on a rant rn and is manipulating/removing every data out there on Wiki pages related to film collections. Dk353 (talk) 20:04, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Instead of blaming me try and prove why are you not a sock. These "figures" are not backed by any verified source, instead is made up of calculations by a Wikipedia user. I won't be surprised if it is not one of your other blocked sock puppets who added it. In fact you have been using another sock 'Dj1508' as well. CrashLandingNew (talk) 20:09, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I have mentioned several times before that these figures have been here for a long time now. If you mean to say that all those gross figures on those pages were adjusted to inflation by me then it can't get more ridiculous than that. I don't wish to prove anything. In time those figures will be put back to where they were. As I went to some of the recent changes you made. And yes I have nothing to do with the account you mentioned. Please provide me with the address of that account if you can, so I could myself see which fellow you are referring. Dk353 (talk) 20:51, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
