Lolcat

edit

No problem! That's how we learn to edit...you should see some of the stupid stuff I did in my first couple days. And actually, most of your edits were fine--such as the Pussycat Dolls thing, I had been wanting to delete that anyway.

As for the ceiling cat bit, I agree that there's currently no reason for it to be in the article, but I'm keeping it in there as a commented-out section because I think it is salvageable (ie, someone who wants to may be able to integrate that section into the article better, especially if a trustworthy third-party source ever discusses ceiling cat and other "recurring characters" of lolcats)--it's not something I personally have any interest in taking the time to do, but I figure it should be kept in there in case anyone does want to do it.

Also, one other little thing... you don't need to use <br> when starting a new paragraph; the new material will show up on its own line if you just double-space it after the previous paragraph. What I usually use
for is if I want to start a separate line inside a table cell, within a footnote, or part of a bulleted list or something, since double-spacing in those kinds of preformatted templates usually don't let you double-space inside of them.

Again, thanks for helping clean up the article! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask; I myself am pretty new here, but will try to help if I can. --Politizer (talk) 17:36, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Khojali

edit

I have reverted your edits on Khojali disambiguation page. Please see the talkpage for justification. Also note that my first justification was aimed at Atabek and was there before your first edit on that article. VartanM (talk) 05:47, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redirects

edit

Please don't blank articles and redirect them without discussion, and should such an action be necessary please don't mark your edit as "minor". Minor edits are those that don't change the contents. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 17:41, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's fine. Thanks for fixing it. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 10:28, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Handjob. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Simon Speed (talk) 21:31, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, a lot of material was removed without comment and there was at least one sourced fact there. I'm not personally totally happy with all the claims on this page but if you want to make controversial edits please discuss them on the talk page first and try to reach a consensus with other editors. --Simon Speed (talk) 21:49, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

At least this time you have justified your actions in the edit summary. Without that most editors would assume a drive-by deletion attack on the article (vandalism of the sex related articles is almost continuous and editors who watch them develop a revert reflex). You now should justify your actions on the discussion page. --Simon Speed (talk) 01:23, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

2007 Lebanon conflict

edit

There is no discussion recorded on the talk page of the article because we discussed it on our own talk pages, and there is no discussion on my talk page because I was using another username two years ago. I change my username every few months because I get bored with them. I forgot which username I used back then.BobaFett85 (talk) 21:17, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I added three sources in the infobox, the US military provided the Lebanese Army military suplies: night-vision gogles, rifles, ammunition, explosives. The US government put Fatah al-Islam on their terror list. And many experts said that Fatah al-Islam may have had some loose conections with al-Qaeda or was at least heavily influenced by it if not connected.BobaFett85 (talk) 04:22, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
