Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:57, 12 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Feedback edit

Nice looking user page. I'm interested to see how you make it more Wikipedian.

Two questions (which is actually one question): should a link to my page be under references? References are for citations and should you cite my Wikipedia page?

Also, join the Teahouse!

Edits feedback edit

Good edits!

Your edit to the Thor page was removed because it was unreferenced. Why don't you find a reference and restore your edit?

3 more edits edit

Dear Devika,

For next Tuesday, please make 3 more edits.

Dr Ashton (talk) 19:58, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

1. 3 additional Non-Psych Edits

        1. Guyanese Creole
        2. Teacher
        3. Wakenaam

2. I went back and check my last edits. Two were still there but my edit to Thor (Marvel Comics) was removed. I believe that this was removed due to lack of referencing. I made the edit but did not reference my source of information

Industrial & Organization Assessment Improvement Week 6 Assignment edit

Industrial & Organizational Assessment

First I identify the problems. The article problems are:

1) It was not cited. Not reputable sources.

2)It was not linked to other articles and other articles are not linked to it.

3) It seems like a personal reflection and lack encyclopedic description of the subject.

Some improvements I worked on:

1)I started by linking another article to the page.

2)Then I add the references.

3) Its no longer an orphan.

4) I also link the page to other articles.

5) I also try cleaning up the article a little.

So far I hope I am improving the article, I am learning as I go along. If I made any errors please feel free to make corrections and let me know.

week 6 edit

Dear Devika,

I don't see your edits. I think that's because you were not logged into Wikipedia. So I can't tell if it was you and a bot reversed some anonymous edits. Please take a look and redo your edits while signed in.

Disambiguation link notification for March 4 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Industrial & Organizational Assessment, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Work and Surveys (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

more on week 6 edit

I was wrong! According to the history, no one edited that page in the last two weeks! You said you added two references, did you mean links?

I/o assessment takeover edit

I think we should change this article because is not a topic but more of discussion post of various subject matters. Look here for more info. Xyzbb1253 (talk) 02:33, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
But we're just editing a page that isn't factual most of the references are linked to the I/O Psych wiki page and on the I/O psych wiki page it sates individual assessment. Individual assessment (tests) or Psychological testing is a topic in the Schultz & Schultz book (Chap. 4) and there are articles relating to that. I can't find information to edit the I/O assessment article because it isn't a topic its more of a discussion or opinionated article. Xyzbb1253 (talk) 02:56, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Industrial & Organizational Assessment edit

Hey Team hope everyone is having a productive weekend!

Let us begin with a couple of terms we should definitely cite, "Psychological Testing" and "Work Sampling" should be cited which I have done It is one of the tools for individual assessments. I have also noticed that the article is still written in a opinionated matter. The improvements can be made but therefore we should all be more careful on certain words to be used that may prevent the article to be continued to be written in this format. Including the main definition of Industrial/Organizational Assessment the two quotes are used to define a term, lets simplify the quote paraphrase it to a solid meaning and just cite the quote. What do you think? Oplmnq3 (talk) 00:33, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

All of us should take a section and redo it and use the information already given as research foundation....some key terms and general statements that doed not read as original thought needs to be cited sucha as assessing jobs and work (Areas of Assessment), PAQ (occupational analysis inventory. Will cite those suggested. --KierraA. (talk) 09:07, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good, I add links so I will just work on cleaning it up now.

March 2014 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Employee morale, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. ...William 17:23, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Individual psychological assessment article edit

hey guys,

Here's what I think you should do individually:

  • KierraA.- Work on the introduction (the top part of the page) and expand it with more information (& only information) on the stuff the professor wanted. Its best if you use the articles that can be found on the talk page, & to access them you have to log in though York's library with the 14 digit ID number found on the back of your York ID
  • Devika - Use one of the articles on the talk page to expand the Overview section (to access them you have to log in though York's library with the 14 digit ID number found on the back of your York ID) and scan the page for words that can be turned into links and then change them to links.
  • Oplmnq3 - I have replaced your edits with PAQ stuff (not sure if that was all of it though), and you should use the articles you placed on the talk page to expand that along with a Job Analysis section (use the article with the professor's pick beside for the job analysis).
