Re: edits to Darth Revan
editHi. Regarding this edit: can you please explain to me why you think Darth Revan is an anti-hero. My understanding of the definition of anti-hero (taken from Anti-hero, Wikipedia is wonderful in that manner) indicates that Revan perhaps isn't an anti-hero. I hope you can explain this to me. Thank you! --Deskana talk 23:37, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
--Revan is an anti-hero, as he acts like one although he is a protagonist of KOTOR 1, mainly his cockiness. Here are a few examples:
- I think we both know the real reason you've been watching me.
- I would've harnessed that power sooner. - To Canderous
- So Malak was the original meat bag? I like that.
- You thought it was luck Calo? Let's go again!
- You're Malak's apprentice? Can't say I'm impressed.
- Is your lightsaber compensating for something Malak?
But there is another reason why I think Revan is an anti-hero. He is described as both a hero and a villain all at once. Malak said it himself.
- "Savior, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all things, Revan… and yet you are nothing. In the end, you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone."-Darth Malak
