April 2015

edit

Hello, I'm Qed237. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Andrés Iniesta without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Rory Boulding. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 19:30, 15 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sources

edit

Hi, Wikipedia relies on source especially on Biographies of Living People and without sources no content will be changes. If yopu dont know how to add sources, let me know and I will try and help you.

Also I would like to inform you that when you update stats or squads there are often a timestamp to let you know when it was updated and correct. That timestamp must also be updated. It can not say "as of 20 February" and then you added something after that. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 14:50, 16 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

And for future knowledge Transfermarkt is not a reliable source as it is user edited (anyone can edit on transfermarkt), for that reason it should never be used as source on wikipedia. QED237 (talk) 17:38, 16 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Morgyn Neill

edit

The article Morgyn Neill has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Morgyn Neill

edit

The article Morgyn Neill has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hello, I'm SLBedit. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Dálcio, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! SLBedit (talk) 23:38, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I never actually changed any facts in the player you mentioned above, I simply changed the infobox as the writer accidentally never put any spaces between (=) signs. I didn't really know how I could put any citations in on this article when all I'm doing is fixing an error.

Dannyd.
