Copy and paste moves

edit

Hello. Your new article Lilly_Truscott_(character) violates the Wikipedia license because it is a copy and paste move and does not properly attribute the contributors who edited that article. I am not sure what to do about it at this point, but I am going to post it on the Wikipedia:Copyright_problems#26_October_2009 noticeboard.--TParis00ap (talk) 14:19, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

There was a consensus at Talk:Lilly_Truscott#Merge_proposal to merge the article into List of Hannah Montana main characters. I have therefore turned it into a redirect. Theleftorium 19:38, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Complicity (album)

edit

I have nominated Complicity (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Complicity (album) (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Timmeh 22:10, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dan Rivera

edit

A tag has been placed on Dan Rivera requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. File:When We Were Beautiful.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:When We Were Beautiful.jpg. You have indicated that you created this work yourself. Accordingly, I have removed it from the article for When We Were Beautiful (song); only an official single cover, and not a fan-created image, should be used to illustrate the song. —C.Fred (talk) 22:50, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • On further research, do not claim to own an image which you do not hold copyright over; the image is the copyrighted cover for the single. —C.Fred (talk) 22:53, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deletion

Proposed deletion of Hannah Montana (HM character)

edit

The article Hannah Montana (HM character) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Shady Talez 2010.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Shady Talez 2010.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 06:41, 23 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
