You're invited...
New York City Meetup
|
In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, review the recent Wiki-Conference New York, plan for the next stages of projects like Wikipedia Takes Manhattan and Wikipedia at the Library, and hold salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the May meeting's minutes).
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and generally enjoy ourselves and kick back.
You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.
To keep up-to-date on local events, you can also join our mailing list.

Westchester NRHP splits
While I didn't really think it needed to be split at all other than taking Yonkers out, I was going to suggest instead that you split it by upper Westchester (towns of Cortlandt, Yorktown, Somers, North Salem, Lewisboro, Ossining, North Castle, New Castle, Bedford, Pound Ridge and Mount Pleasant and Peekskill (which really, IMO, doesn't have enough listings on its own to justify its own list)) and lower Westchester (everything else). That's more in line with how the county is usually divided. Daniel Case (talk) 03:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- Still think you should consider my split plan and do the appropriate remerges and renamings. Other than Yonkers, no city in Westchester really has enough listings to justify a separate list. You'd end up with two manageably-sized lists organized along a common, frequently-used dividing line. Daniel Case (talk) 03:47, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
About Merger
Simply put a request in Wikipedia:Proposed mergers is not enough. You have to put tags and start a discuss in the talk page of one of the articles. Please read Wikipedia:Merging_and_moving_pages#Proposing_a_merger for more info. --Quest for Truth (talk) 17:50, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
- {{Merge}} is the tag you need. The
target
parameter is useful in this case. And don't forget to create a discussion section on either one of the article's talk page. --Quest for Truth (talk) 18:08, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

It is in Greenville, Virginia; I can't think of the cross-street, but I've been down the road. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 20:15, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
