Antioxidants and MEDRS sources

edit

Hello and welcome. When editing or writing nutrient and medical content, the guideline WP:MEDRS is used, as summarized in this video tutorial. Sources used in the Antioxidant article should mainly be systematic reviews or meta-analysis of high-quality clinical trials published in well-respected journals. The style for medical editing is at WP:MEDMOS. I think your suggestions on the Talk page are valid, and suggest that you take the issues one by one, then place a draft on the Talk page for discussion and improvement before uploading to the article. I'll be watching your progress. Thanks. --Zefr (talk) 00:34, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi User:Zefr,Thanks for your hospitality and advice! Regarding drafts, do you mean that I should post proposed changes to the talk page before editing the main page? Or are you suggesting that I create a version of the page with proposed changes in the draft namespace according to Wikipedia:Drafts? --Dag330 (talk) 14:56, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
I suggest offering a draft on a specific article segment to the Antioxidant Talk page where several editors will make comment and improve the content; not the WP Draft process. This way, you'll also get to observe the style of different editors. --Zefr (talk) 15:28, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Ok great. Thanks for clarifying! --Dag330 (talk) 15:50, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Keep in mind that for high profile nutrition, medicine and health topics, you will be bumping into MDs and PhDs who have been editing Wikipedia for years. David notMD (talk) 22:19, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Also, your User page is not supposed to be a to-do list. It is for posting a bit about yourself as to credentials and what you intend bring to Wikipedia as an editor. That can be a combination of text and appropriate Userboxes. David notMD (talk) 22:21, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
I think Wikipedia is lucky to have such great contributors! I am looking forward to good discussions! Per WP:UPYES a to-do list is an acceptable use of a user page. I added some userboxes to spruce up user:Dag330, but don't really want to spend too much time on it. Thanks David! --Dag330 (talk) 00:58, 23 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Lassen Municipal Utility District

edit

The article Lassen Municipal Utility District has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Outside of a few passing mentions, I can't find any significant coverage from reliable sources to satisfy WP:GNG or WP:ORGCRIT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — MarkH21talk 08:40, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

@MarkH21: I have made a handful of additions to the page which I believe are sufficient to establish notability. Let me know if you think this is sufficient. Thank you for your diligent patrolling! -Dag330 (talk) 21:17, 13 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
