I have declined your speedy deletion nomination - neither of the WP:CSD#Redirects criteria applies. You could nominate it at WP:Redirects for discussion, but it seems useful - someone wanting to know about the book will at least be told who the author is and something about him. It has been here for years, and it gets a moderate amount of use, about three hits a day. None of the reasons in WP:R#DELETE applies, except possibly #10, the hope that a redlink might encourage someone to write an article; but anyone interested enough would probably observe in the author's article that the title is not linked.
