License tagging for Image:Karmijn.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Karmijn.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MatthewVanitas was:

Also, by general policy, political candidates are not inherently eligible for an article of their own. If they are famous for other things, or if their candidacy (even if unsuccessful) brings a significant amount of fame outside of just their local area, then there may be an argument. But if this person's main claim-to-fame is his candidacy, and such is largely unremarked on outside of C. Tipperary, then he does not yet merit an article.

Another concern: at a quick glance, I can't tell what he's running for. I would presume it's national-level MP or equivalent, but that needs to be explicit in the very beginning. If it's a County-level position among many I don't think he necessarily would merit an article, though if he's running for the national Dáil itself I believe he would automatically merit an article should he actually be elected.

But setting all that aside, this is clearly political advertising and not dispassionate neutral analysis. Its only citations are to the websites of immediate interested parties. I would suggest that you wait until after the elections, and should he win a Dáil seat then you could easily get this draft passed on the strength of the coverage his victory would gain.
