Hi, I know that toni asked us to talk amongst each other to find out who was doing the same topic as ourselves so that we can ensure that not so many people would be editing the same page and different members of the topic can collaborate. After reading your user page I have discovered that you have not stated a topic in which you would like to study so I thought I would ask if you have decided upon a topic yet. Myself I have chosen to study the topic of Internet relationship. So if you have an interest in this topic too please can you let me know.

Hey, just so you know on Waynes talk back he started a section for talking about the Web design. Just make sure you check it regularly so you see what people are putting on it. Nicola Witbooi (talk) 16:55, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Presentation edit

Toni mentioned the groups using one power point for the presentation last week , so I have arranged for everybody to send me a few (4-6) slide that they want adding to the master file. The order of presentation is defined by the sections we worked on so it goes, Me, Teri, Nic, you. WBClarkson (talk) 11:18, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Corrections edit

Hi its a bit late in the day but ive corrected the Typography. The bold is my suggestions and when there are questionsmarks sorrounding a section it means that I couldnt correct it because I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say by it. Hope that helps

Web Design Page(workings) [edit]Typography Typography within websites consist of sans serifs or serif typefaces ? Typography within websites should either be a sans serif or serif typeface ?focusing on either but not both types appropriate to the style of website?. Usually a successful website has only a few typefaces which are of a similar style, instead of using a range of typefaces. Designing for type in websites should also be careful the amount of typefaces used, good design will incorporate a few similar typefaces rather than a range of type faces. Most browsers recognize a specific number of safe fonts, which designers mainly use in order to avoid complications. As websites have specific safe fonts that most browsers will operate with, designers should use these fonts as much as possible to better control a website if it breaks down. Most layouts on a site incorporate white spaces to break the text up into paragraphs and also avoid centre aligned text. The layout of a site should incorporate;? good hierarchy relating to using titles and labels?, good use of white space which will help break up the text into paragraphs and avoid centre aligned text. This all goes towards improving readability on a page. [1] Nicola Witbooi (talk) 16:12, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
