It seems to me that an article you worked on, List of channels on UPC Ireland, may be copied from http://www.insidethex.co.uk/xmltv/lineups/List_of_channels_on_UPC_Ireland.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

Actually, that page was deleted as a result of the debate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2nd bundle of channel lineups and should not be reposted because Wikipedia is not a TV guide. Consequently, I have tagged the page for redeletion. MER-C 12:38, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

List of free-to-air channels at Astra 28.2°E (Ireland and the United Kingdom)

The reason for the name change: 28.2°E on its own didn't make sense, it's Astra 28.2°E. Added Ireland and the United Kingdom (in alphabetical order) because Astra 28.2°E is broadcast to parts of Africa too via TNT Sat Africa (in French) (Ref).

Free-to-view channels are free-to-air, provided one has an active Sky Viewing Card, no subscription is required for these free-to-view channels. Why is this difficult for you to understand?

I added the channel numbers because I felt it would be beneficial to Sky/Freesat users to directly see if they have access to that channel and if they don't require manual tuning.

I forgot to mention the BBC Red Button channels. I added these as they are currently broadcasting colour bars and tones and have been for a while. I would like to keep them and they are temporary channels that appear and disappear regularly. Joey (TattooedLeprechaun) • 💬 09:24, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
