Your page

I fixed up some things on your page. If you can, try to come to the help chat at about the same time you came last time, or maybe slightly earlier, as there are a few things to work on. Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) 00:42, 5 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ctenosaura bakeri is a good article you can refer to while writing your article. Darylgolden(talk) 07:19, 5 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
You should also give your page a longer lead or first paragraph, which should summarise the rest of your article. Darylgolden(talk) 03:48, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Darylgolden I just added more to my lead. Please let me know if this is enough information. I dontnknow how to fix references though so I can move the first sentence mentioning the status to the end of the sentence. i tried referencing for it (i used the same references already on the page) but it changes the number even though i select the correct reference. how do i do it? i also want to add a reference to the 'synonyms' section but dont know how to do it. there are two references 20/21 i have together that didnt come up blue on the page so havent been referenced (though i see they are on the page in the reference section) how do i fix it? is it best just to use one of them instead of two? also number '(12)' didnt come up on teh reference list. i added it to the ref list but dont know how to link it to the parts in the text it is referring to. Sorry, lots of questions again:/ --Clarevincent2014 (talk) 07:41, 6 October 2014 (UTC) Darylgolden I also messed up the geographic heading section. --Clarevincent2014 (talk) 07:41, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've moved Furina diadema to Red-naped snake because the title should be the most common name (the page title for tigers is tiger, not Panthera tigris). Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) 07:48, 7 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Education Program

edit

Hi Clarevincent, assuming you still check this page, please direct your professor Wikipedia:Education program (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Education_program). That is the official system for schools who want students editing Wikipedia. Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) 05:30, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Darylgolden, thanks for letting me know. I would like to change the referencing style to 'harvard' style. Can I do this? I read I had to ask on talkpage for permission.

Thanks,

Clare

I saw you on the chat a moment ago, if you are still here please come on again. Darylgolden(talk) 08:56, 13 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello again

edit

Hi Clarevincent, hello again! It's been a long time and if you don't mind me asking we (the helpers at the help channel) would like to know what grade you got for your project. For the record, your page was on the main page on the 13 November! Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) 07:09, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Darylgolden, I am sorry for the late response I have been busy still. From memory I got 63% for the article. I was shown very briefly and was very tired at the time (we were on a uni desert trip) - hence the unsureness (it may have been 65%). I was unable to get the comments about it due to computer malfunction, they have also not been published online for students. I will email the lecturer and request he send me them and I can pass them to you if you like? (with the definite %. Thanks again for helping. Clare
